What is Eyelid Aesthetics?
Although surgeries applied to the upper face area are referred to as eyelid aesthetics, in fact, eye contour aesthetics is a more accurate definition. Because with age, the effects of aging begin to appear in all the structures around the eyes. Eyebrow drooping, wrinkles, skin accumulation on the upper eyelid, bagging on the lower eyelid, pulling down the middle face and ring appearance under the eyes, tear trough deformity are the problems that occur in general. What are the Aesthetic Procedures Performed Around the Eyes?
The accumulation of skin on the upper eyelid, which is one of the most common conditions, is surgically removed. If there is a drooping eyelid, ptosis can be corrected, if there is a droopy eyebrow, eyebrow suspension or temple stretching, microoil injection can be applied if a more renewed appearance is desired. The place of fat accumulation that causes bagging on the lower eyelid is spread under the eye or to the cheek area and the bagging is corrected. A more effective result is obtained if a mid-face lift is applied with the lower eyelid.
