GYNECOMASTY
Enlargement of breast in males is called gynecomasty. Gynecomasty may occur as increasing of breast tissue or fat tissue around the breast. In restoration of gynecomasty, liposuction is generally performed. In gynecomasties of excessive volume, techniques in which skin is also required to be removed may be performed.
Fat tissue is destructed and sucked with canullas directed through small holes in liposuction and treatment for gynecomasty is achieved. It can be performed under local or general anesthesia, the procedure takes approximately 1 hour. Hospital stay is not required, individual can return to his/her professional and social life with special corset.
