BOTOX®

What is Botox?

In cosmetic surgery, Botox is a safe and effective aesthetic procedure we use to reduce expression wrinkles on the face and achieve a younger, more dynamic appearance. When applied with the correct dose and technique by physicians who have received adequate training in this field, it does not alter facial expressions; on the contrary, it provides a more natural and rested look.

BOTOX

FAQ before Botox

💬 Is the effect of Botox permanent?

It is temporary. Its effect lasts for an average of 4-6 months. With regular applications, the duration of the effect may be extended.

💬 When should I start Botox?

There is no strict age limit for Botox; it is evaluated according to individual needs. In younger people, the aim is to prevent lines from deepening. In older people, the goal is to reduce existing wrinkles and give a more dynamic expression.

💡We observe that the average age for first Botox treatment among individuals who visit our clinic is between 25-30 years old.

💬 How long does it take for Botox to take effect?

Botox usually starts showing effects within 3-5 days and reaches its full effect within 10-14 days.

💬 Does Botox eliminate facial expressions?

With the right dosage and technique, it's possible to achieve natural results. The goal isn't to completely eliminate facial expressions, but to reduce excessive muscle movement for a more natural and rested look.

BOTULINUM TOXIN (BOTOX) TREATMENTS

FACIAL REJUVENATION

Wrinkles on the forehead, between the eyebrows, and around the eyes (crow's feet) can be reduced; if necessary, it can also be applied to wrinkles around the nose, above the lips, and in the chin area to achieve a more vibrant and fresh facial appearance.

It is also used in suitable patients to lift the eyebrows, lift the tip of the nose, and change the direction of the crease at the corners of the mouth.

BRUKSIZM
(MASSETER BOTOX)

In some people, teeth grinding (bruxism), especially at night, can occur as a result of overactivity of the chewing muscles that control jaw movement. Botox can be injected into the masseter muscle, located under the cheek, to treat teeth grinding. The effect of Botox on the masseter muscle may be shorter-lived than on facial muscles.

EXCESSIVE SWEATING
TREATMENT

Botox injections can be used to reduce excessive sweating in individuals experiencing problems with their armpits, hands, and feet. Armpit injections are relatively comfortable. However, hand and foot injections can be painful, requiring sedation anesthesia. Because the injections cover large areas, careful dosage planning is essential.

MIGRAINE
TREATMENT

Botox treatment may be beneficial in treating tension-type migraine headaches. Applying Botox to the muscles in the forehead and temples, and to the muscles in the nape of the neck for migraines originating from the back of the head, may reduce the frequency and severity of attacks, and the need for pain medication. The effect may vary from person to person.

botoks kocaeli

 Is it harmful?

Misconceptions that Botox is "snake venom" are very common. Botulinum toxin is a medication derived from the toxin of the C. botulinum bacterium and should only be administered by experienced physicians who have received adequate training in aesthetic procedures. When administered in appropriate doses and at the correct locations, it is a safe procedure.

Personalized planning is important to preserve a natural look.

Does it look natural?

"Will I lose my facial expressions?" This is one of the most common questions we hear from people applying for Botox. With the correct dose and placement, the goal of Botox is not to create an expressionless face, but to soften lines while preserving the natural look of the face. Therefore, instead of a "one dose for everyone" approach, personalized planning is crucial. For those who are anxious, lower doses can be used initially. (Baby Botox)

BOTULINUM TOXIN
( clinical choice )

If you have concerns about Botox treatment in Kocaeli, the first thing you should consider is having the procedure performed by a physician who has received specialized training in this field. When choosing a clinic, you should pay attention to factors such as: clear examination and information processes; the use of licensed and original products; the application being performed under sterile conditions; and accessibility after the procedure.

 Frequently Asked Questions

Can I return to work after a Botox treatment?

Most people can return to their daily routine the same day.

Can men get Botox?

Yes. Since muscle structure and goals can vary in a man's face, planning is done accordingly.

“I’m getting Botox for the first time—what should I pay attention to?”

The most important thing to note is that the procedure should be performed by an experienced specialist physician.

Botox or fillers?

These are two different procedures. Botox might be a better option if lines are more pronounced by facial expressions, while fillers could be more suitable if there is sagging or volume loss.

Does Botox cause addiction?

No, it doesn't. However, people who like the effect may want to have it done regularly.

Can another procedure be done on the same day as Botox?

Injection-based procedures can be combined. However, if surgery is involved, scheduling must be carefully considered.
